How much is a "smidgen" ?

Farmer's Almanac says: 1/32 of a tsp.

In the early 2000s some companies began selling measuring spoons that defined (or redefined) a tad as 1⁄4 teaspoon, a dash as 1⁄8 teaspoon, a pinch as 1⁄16 teaspoon, and a smidgen as 1⁄32 teaspoon.
Based on these spoons, there are two pinches in a dash and two smidgens in a pinch.

'Snug' is less then/equal to 40 inch/pounds

Using a spice or active ingredient in something at least four servings that small would probably have no effect on taste or action.

Of course I'm the type of cook when a recipe calls for two garlic cloves, that means at least six or more.
