4 T Flour
4 T Sugar
2 T Cocoa
1 egg
3 T milk
3 T oil
3 T choc chips
Small splash of vanilla extract
1 Large Coffee Mug, microwave safe

Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. Add egg, mix thoroughly. Pour in milk, oil, mix well. Add chips and vanilla, mix.

Cook in microwave 3 minutes for 1000 watt oven. The cake will rise above the rim of mug, do not be alarmed. Cool, put on plate if desired with ice cream or whipped cream.

YUM....Dangerous? Yes, you can have chocolate cake in 5 minutes any time you want.

x2, the wrong "T" and you will have big mess or a flop. I guess the flop is better. Try the teaspoon first.

Until weedpatch can confirm, I'm pretty sure it is 3 teaspoons (which is the same as 1 tablespoon). OR use 1 tablespoon of applesauce which will give it the same moistness without the calories.

I'm thinking I'll try it with the choc chips on top, not mixed in, to give it more of an icing on top. Maybe even sprinkle nuts, crushed peppermint or coconut on top for variety.

But I disagree about the danger. No second helpings make this a much SAFER recipe.

Barb,

The other version of the recipe that I found online definitely calls for 3 tablespoons. Alas, I think tablespoons is correct.

I stand corrected. WOW, that's 360 calories worth of oil!!!! You'll save 340 calories using applesauce instead and get some fiber and vitamins, too.
