Found this thing in Wal-Mart after seeing commercials for it on TV. Bought it and it seems to work pretty well. Uses 6 AA batteries but I use those rechargable alkalines so that shouldn't be too big of a deal. This thing takes up way less space than my big food vac system. I think it will work well for the short-term storage I need for in the RV. For the long-term storage (home use), I will still prefer a Tilia Foodvac. But the ziplock bags will allow us to seal and reseal foods like sliced cheese, onions, deli meats, etc.
