Now that the Thanksgiving weekend is almost over...I am curious...how many of you did a close to traditional Thanksgiving supper in your RVs?

This is my first year with the smaller micro-convection oven. I was able to cook a small turkey in it and it turned out very well. I did NOT have my roaster tray to keep it out of it's juices ...and to keep the skin crispy (I thought I would be doing a thigh & breast...not a whole bird) ...but we did have our gravy, cornbread dressing, turkey and steamed veggie.
I did not attempt to do homemade rolls this time ..and I did buy Sacs his pie instead of making one (he is still eating on it tonight ) ...but I am curious.. how many of you made the full meal in your rigs... and what oven type do you have?

Well, we originally planned to have a traditional dinner in the RV, but ended up sharing with friends, and we ate outdoors. So, I only cooked green beans and cut up tomatoes and mozzarella. Our host cooked the turkey on the grill outdoors and made the dressing and the rest came from the other of the four families total (8 people). Not a good test for the convection at my new house, but I expect it could cook a turkey easily. I usually cook the breast down (makes it jucier) and I did save a roasting pan with a rack that would fit in the convection oven, but didn't get to use it this year.

Hope you and yours had a peaceful Thanksgiving holiday.

We have not in a number of years. When our daughter was in college, we would load up Thanksgiving and visit her at school in the RV. complete dinner with all of the trimmings for her and any of her fiends that were strays that day.

We generally smoked a turkey the week or so before and froze it. Everything else was prepared in the RV.
