What is the most reliable BBQ grill?

I am in the market for a grill for my rig. I want something that cooks well and is easy to clean. A large surface is a plus since I grill my pizza for a crisp crust. I would like it to last more than a few years. Portability is a plus.

I have had my Weber Q for 5 years and am very happy with it.

I have the Weber, I think it's the 120. The grill surface is cast iron and has a nice even heat. The cover is high enough that you can roast a whole chicken or a roast and will last a long time.

Weber Q recently got slamed to the ground from the top of the picnic table. Seems the Black Bear could not get the drip tray out to feast on.
Regardless, it withstood the fall quiet nicely and heats evenly. I beleave there is an optional griddle which I do not have yet but plan on.
I carry a small wire brush kept inside the grill for a quick clean-up after each use.
I also removed the wire guide holder for the small gas bottles. Doing so allows you to use the short fat bottles as well. Someday I'll graduate to the big tank and hose.
Only add-on I would recommend is a temp gauge.

Another vote for the Weber Q. Ours is a Q100 and it has met all of our needs. I was initially concerned about using the disposable cylinders but that has not been a problem. In fact, due to their convenience, I am beginning to prefer the cylinders. I have a small (5 pound) propane tank but have not hooked it to the Q.

When a disposable cylinder gets low and I don't think it has enough propane to grill a meal, it gets relegated to lantern duty until it's completely empty.

We replaced our Coleman grill with the propane Foreman grill and love it. Very easy to clean and reverses to a griddle. We had a 10# cylinder but now have the hook up on the MH to hook into the propane tank.

Weber Q-220 with collapsible portable stand, 6 foot extension hose to a small LPG tank. Also a full cover that goes over the grill and stand when upright.

This is one of the best grills I have ever had. I'm a full-timer and won't be without my Weber anywhere.

I read some poor reviews on the heat quality and the paint job wearing off in one year. I will try portable cylinders first, but will probably graduate to a MH connection. Has onyone needed to use their warranty?

Have had a Weber Baby Q for at least 5 years and it is the best portable BBQ we have ever owned. It is sturdy, has an even flame and never flares. Makes grilling a breeze.

I have had a Weber Baby Q for several years and think it a very good BBQ. I added a temp gauge and I have a set up similar to the photo and run it off the main tank. Mine has a quick release connection and I added a positive on/off valve to prevent any leakage when the hose is disconnected.

Just added a Traeger Jr. wood-pellet-fired smoker/grill to one of our basement slide-outs. Got the idea from a couple of other Newmar owners who have done the same thing and enjoying some of their cooking. We LOVE the food. Once you try it, my bet is you will be hooked. It's small and light enough that I can take it out of the rig and use it at home during the winter. As far as reliability is concerned, a couple of our friends have had these for several years and to my knowledge, have experienced no problems.

Hmmm . . . maybe I'll start a separate thread on wood pellet cooking . . .
