We are spending the winter in Eustis,Florida and enjoying everything....However,I have been unable to find a Bread Maker to replace our old faithful, which we gave to a family member before we left the cold north..
I would like to find a Panasonic, but I am ready to try any other brands....

You might want to look at this one thru the King Arthur Company. It's small and has great reviews. It does only bake a small loaf. I have a bread machine cookbook that has 3 sizes of bread loaves per recipe. Since it's just David & I, a smaller machine would be better (I keep looking at this one). But my big 2lb machine is still working great (even though it takes up a lot of room).

Thanks Lorna...I should have added that I don't want to order by phone or internet,as we leave in a few weeks...We checked JC Penny's and Sears in our area with no luck...also a few smaller retailers....Even walmart does not have bread makers at this time..

I like King Arthurs In VT for a bread maker. Or, shop the internet, great deals out there with prompt service and delivery.

We went thru the same thing shortly before C-Mas. One of my kids got upset because I took my bread machine with me when we ran away from home. So I thought I'd get her one for C-Mas. WRONG! Hunted all over and finally bought her a pearl necklace (I have such strange kids... 20yo and what does she want? Bread Machines and has a thing about Pearl Necklaces... and loves ZZ Top!). AFTER we bought the necklace, we found a bread machine at Wal-Mart. I also found them at a specialty kitchenware outlet shop up in Bryon (GA "Outlet Shops of Bryon). Hit one (or more) of those big "Factory Discount Malls" type places, There are several Tanger, Belz are a couple of "chain" places. Do a search online for "Factory Outlet Mall" and you will turn up lots of them. Outlet Bound has a US map and will show other than the big chain outlet malls (and claim to list REAL outlets). As for Canada, I'm clueless.
