WRV didn't put an inline fuse in the 12v power wire or any of the wires to the trailer socket. The Vansco powers these circuits and it has a built in circuit breaker function for over current protection. It could be that a previous owner has modified the trailer wiring and installed a fuse somewhere. There was a 4 to 3 wire converter installed to combine the extra wire for amber turn signals with a single turn signal/brake light wire and that is know to fail with age.
