Sorry for the late response, but just saw it. You need to push the slide out 6 inches or so to access the bathroom. Hope this helps.

Hi! My husband and I are strongly considering the Rockwood 2304 KS. The tech at Forest River tells us that when the slide is in, you can slip around the slide to access the bathroom and refrigerator. We are concerned that when stopping to picnic enroute we won't always be in a spot where we can extend the slide. Any other comments about the unit? Thanks ahead!!
