Back in 2007 you wrote: "On my Discovery there was a lengthy procedure for turning on and off gate valves located around the engine compartment and adding fluid with certain valves closed or open to prevent getting any air pockets in the system."

I just saw this post. We have a 2002 Diplomat and I want to change the coolant as I believe it's never been done. What manual did you use to know which valves to open and close??
