    Hope this helps. St the Escapade in Sedalia, Missouri this year a Dometic rep gave a very informative talk on refrigerators. The question was presented on how to keep your unit from icing up. Would fans help prevent this? His answer was that if your unit is icing up you are running it with the number setting too high. I had this problem and turned mine down and it works. Keep an eye on you cooling fins and place a thermostat inside the unit to monitor the temp. I was able to do mine by lowering it from 5 to 2. You have to know what your coldest setting is. This can be found on the inside next to the lighting instructions. My high setting was 3 but that can very depending on your unit. Some units 5 is the high setting. Give it a try. John Leach
