I am pulling about 7K lbs.

Not saying you do or do not need a trailertoad, just saying its same money to buy trailertoad & steel trailer as it is to buy an aluminum trailer. But will say with trailertoad you will not have any weight on your coach, then it really does not matter what weight you tow.

How much weight are you pulling? I am still thinking I will purchase an aluminum trailer and my total weight will be 5800 pounds so, with a WD hitch, it doesn't seem that I will need a Trailertoad. Any suggestions?

My MH is a gas Ford V-10. I upgraded my hitch to a 16K lbs hitch, was like $240 from Amazon. If you change out the hitch to a bigger one, you will be fine.

I am considering buying an Alumna trailer to trailer my 2013 Rubicon two door and a 4 wheeler behind it. Overall weight will be 5800 lbs and I have a 2011 35 foot gasser. I am concerned about the amount of weight it will put on the MH hitch and not so much being able to drag it down the road. What is your MH, gas or diesel?
