I got sidetracked and just now checked back. If you have pictures of what you did that you can send I'd appreciate seeing them. We have a trip coming up in 3 weeks and I'd like to do something before we head out.

Somebody took my idea and made it a reality. He ran the power wire thru the awning hem and drilled a hole into a cabinet and powered it from there. The wire rolls up with the awning so there is no chance to cut it or tangle it up. I saw a write up either on iRV2 or the Tiffin web site. I actually installed LEDs under my slide. They're at a nice level and provide a bright light without being in your eyes. LEDs are mounted on the back side of the slide fascia. I ran the power wire on the bottom of the slide and to the porch with. I added enough length to keep it safe when the slide is in. Let me see if I have any pics.

Did you ever add the LED lightings to your awning? We have a 2013 Tiffin Allegro and are considering doing that and would like to pick your brain if we could.
