    Thanks Don,

If they arent much better I guess I wont worry about if they have one for my DSDP.

I'm jealous of your paint job. I would like to have ours painted, but dont think its cost effective for me, since I not sure I will keep it long enough. I would like to upgrade to one or two more slides and a bunch of other things like aluminum wheels, etc., etc., etc...

When we had our 98 DSDP painted about 1 yr ago I bought those headlights from www.autopartswarehouse.com for $226. It did not include the amber turn signal or headlight bulbs.

You are correct, the originals suck. These aftermarket ones aren't much better. We put Sylvania Silver Stars in them which helped a little. We hardly ever drive at nite.
    We hope this helps?

    LoneStarAce,

I ran across the thread re: your headlight replacement. I have the 2000 DSDP and my original headlights dont look like the ones in the picture you posted. Am I right that the new ones looked somewhat different that the originals?

My problem is that the original headlights don't put much light on the road, and I have been told that there really isn't a upgrade-replacement. However, yours look like an upgraded version. I did replace my cheap Tyco headlight version with a genuine Ford version that I got from the wrecking yard (removed from a Ford pickup). It didnt make any noticeable difference.

I posted a reply the the original post with my headlight photo attached, since I couldnt figure out how to include it in this message.
