I sure got tired of working on small RV projects on the ground. So I made this 3/4” plywood storage box, for storage and a workbench. Instead of hinges, I made the top removable. The top stays in alignment with cleats on the underside. It took a little trail and error to allow for clearance. For strength I used cleats and lots of Gorilla Glue. My tool box fits neatly on the side. I’m 6’3” and the workbench is made to fit me.

After trying to retrieve an item from my “Between the Rail Storage” and not being able to see what I was looking for I replaced the 1/2” plywood shelves with wire closet shelving. I fastened two pieces together using hog rings for strength and to give me a lip on each side. I found it easier to install each piece separately, then fasten them together.

Sure makes it easier to find what you are looking for when you can see it from below.

Our original Bedroom TV was located in the corner, above the washer/dryer. Watching it was uncomfortable because of the angle between the TV and the bed. I wanted to replace the old TV with an LED. My wife said can’t you line it up with the bed. After some thought I came up with my solution.

First I built a frame to match the existing cabinets. I then mounted a piece of 1/8” aluminum (painted black) to the back of the frame, which added strength to the frame. I installed the...
