Yes, we have 2 dogs that travel with us. Wife has "Pawsports" (she's dog crazy) for them with their shot records but we've never been asked for anything. Coming back the American ICE agents always ask about dog food. We try to come back with only a couple of days supply and keep it in the original bag that shows it's a product of the US. San Carlos is dog friendly- Many of the restaurants allow dogs. If you do go and stay at Totonaka say hi to Joseph for us. He's a great guy and we've known him for years. We're leaving here for San Carlos on 12/30 and plan to stay until 4/1. Let us know if there is anything further you need to know re: places of interest, restaurants or activities. BTW, I'm told teh diesel prices there are much less than the US. We fuel up at the first PEMEX station on the southbound side past the 21 KM checkpoint where you get your tourist visas.

    Have fun !
