Hi folk's , we're on our last full day here in Cedar Key RV resort . This park is a year old and I would give it a high rating .They told us its 400 per month plus electric for there winter months . The people are great and if you like sea food , its the best around here .
I'm working off my fresh water tank , till I get home and change the mixer valve . I hope all is well with you . Tommy , Di, Bree , and Bendi . Some day I'll learn to put pictures on my bio.

Hi , well we're sitting in a beautiful campground in Cedar Keys Fl. We're having trouble with our fresh water tank . we hooked up with the city water and about a half hour later the water started running out underneith .I thought my fresh water tank was over flowing .I turned off the city water and I'm running off my fresh water tank using my water pump. Now my water pump stops pumping sometimes until I turn it off for a while . I still don't know whats wrong , but hopefully we'll hit the problem tommrow .Also, when I got here , I had to go to bathroom FAST and the door knob came off in my hand .There was some other small problems but I got those covered .
The wife said , could anything more go wrong? After the night shade in the bedroom string broke . All in all we're having a good time

We are staying at Twin Creeks in Gatlinburg. Nice breeze coming down the mt. so we shut off the AC and opened the windows.

Heading back to the foothills near jackson for a couple of days last time we were there it was nice, so this time we will stay a couple of days. Had to but a battery in the motorhome got one of those optima red top with 800 to 1000 cca, did a test on the old one and one of the cells was dead so i thought its time, the guy who had this before me put a small battery with very low cca's around 500. I guess every month i will try to fix and update, just finding some little parts if it wasn't for the net i would never find. we also like going to the ocean near bodga bay. steve

yes i enjoy the working on all the little stuff to make things right, just ordered new lens for some of the inside lights, also acouple of awning parts that were broke when i bought it and did not see. did not like the water pressure gauge so went to camping world and bought an adjustable one with a gauge so i can see what the water is, I like the slides a lot bedroom is a small one but the living room slide is good size so much room for 2, the kingdome only gets one satt at a time i have it hooked up to dishnetwork and record a lot of shows to watch and dvd's. this unit is a 2003 but was very clean the guy i bought it from ran a wholesale rv place and fixed most things i found, he even came to the house and picked it up and returned it, I did have to get the brake recall done which ended up costing me 800 dollars some free recall, but the brakes are done. .this one only had 24k miles on it and generator less than 200 hours,, steve

we used to go camping as a kid mostly lake shasta in northern calif, as time went on we were into motorcycles, boats, and rv, my last was a 25 ft 1989 holiday rambler class c, after the kids were grown and out i wanted to get back into it, so i found this one a 2003 holiday rambler vacationer, when i bought the first holiday the guy told me you will want to keep with holiday rambler, and we did i like the way it's made. this one has all the goodies for us 2 slides, jacks, 2 tvs with kinddome satt. it only had 25k miles on it had a few little things that needed to be fixed but so far little things, lens, awning parts, not too much , will put tires and shocks end of year.

i was lucky that the job i had for 21 year has a penison, along with disability payments for my injury i do ok, but when the wife retires i will be time to tighin up a little, i would of loved to work 10 more years beats being in pain and having restrictions, but we do what we do, as they say it is called life with up and downs, all we can hope for is more ups than downs. So what type of work do you do to be out so far from home?, my wife just took her 85 years old dad up in a balloon ride , he loved it. we are about 1/2 hour to napa, and i have lived in the bay area all my life, my wife is from michigan, but after 27 years together she is from calif now. steve
