Is yours the floorplan where the bathroom doors open up and closes off the bedroom and living area? That was the thing we loved most, because it gave such a large bath/dressing room area. Real liveable space.

We bought it in 1999 and drove it until 2002 when we traded it in on a gas powered Class A. One of the things you may need to look at is the weight. We weighed the coach and found that even with not much stuff it was overweight according to the placard. I called Gulfstream and they said that the placard was for the chassis without the tag axle. The tag axle added 1500 more pounds of capacity. Given that we were in good shape. We did find that the front brakes may have been a little overloaded. Both of the front brake rotors cracked at different times. I would keep a good eye on your rotors.

Where in NC are you located?

No, we live in Florida. Ours was a 1996 Gulfstream Ultra 102. We loved it, the floor plan was excellent.

Hello fellow conquest owner. Question. My rv has two big stress cracks in the body, does yours?

Conquest102 - Looking at your motor home, we had the same one a few years back. A 1996 Gulfstream Ultra 102, with a tag axle. Have never seen another Class C with a tag axle. Loved our Ultra, finally decided to go to a Class A diesel, but we still have fond memories of the Ultra. Would probably still have it if we had kids at home.
