Evening Dean, I bought a 95 magna too with the same paint scheme, small world!..build number 5271
Do you have any of the manuals available to share? I will gladly pay for them
jim
I saw in a post that you had scanned in some manuals for a harney motor coach and have shared this out. Can I get a link or email? I have a 2000 harney renegade. most curious right now there are a couple mystery switches on the dash. One under the radio and I have a loose one under the dash.
I have the same clear coat peeling, in the top front forward of horns and behind spot light and then along the curved edge along the sides. I was also getting white streaking down the sides from roof oxidazation, so I used painters tape just past the white roof and coated the roof and it stopped the streaking but when removing the tape it removed more clear coat. I am hoping to set my rig up with a solar system for boondocking and hoping to hit the road this fall and search for warm weather!
Wow! I love your rig, I have the 95 concept and love it. It's a nicer rig than I ever thought I would own I just had to wait 20 years so I could aford it. I have the DD 8v92 in mine with 165k miles. What in yours? I was going to include a pic of my rig but no luck!
Dean, I am trying to put a trailer brake controller on my '93 Magna. There is supposed to be wiring in the front of the coach to use for that purpose. Greg at the factory told me it would be under the dash, in the front run box or in the shifter console by the drivers seat. Well, no luck on any of those places and I can't find the brake pressure switch either. I did find a reference, in my wiring manual, to a spare wire #4 that was a 12 gauge red wire running from the front run box to the rear run box. Can't find that either. So before I post to the CC forum, have you got any ideas where i might look for these wires and the switch? Thanks in advance. Joe
Hi again Dean,
I had propane after turning on the safety valve below the sink. All is good there. From what you told me, this coach has only one thermostat. It is located above the entry door. The rear furnace will not blow which brings up another question. There are two 8D batteries for the house batts. Are these two seperate circuits for the 12v system in the coach? That would explain the rear furnace not working. I could only
charge one battery. They might just be in series.
There are two batteries for the engine. Is it a 24v start?
I know I need the 50 amp serv ice pluged in and it might charge all batts. and give me a answer.
If there are a front and rear engine powered air conds. I would think there would be two controls at the dash. Maybe someone out there will have an answer.
Thanks again Dean for your help. Hope I can get this one looking as good as your coach, Don
