Hello. I am purchasing a 98 American Eagle, and will need to put new tires on the vehicle. Can you share with me the size tires you have on your 98 AE, and if you by chance know the largest tire size the rig can accommodate without interference? Thank you so much for any insight and assistance.

Good morning and I'm hopeful you may be able to guide me to an answer. I have a 97 American dream and I am having a really tough time turning on the block heater. I have the block heater plugged in, but I hear there is a switch somewhere that will activate the block heater. The patio receptacle breaker and all breakers are turned on but it is this mysterious switch that I am unable to fine. Any direction you may be able to provide, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Brian

Do you have the cummins engine manual and Spartan chassis manuals. I got the American Coach manual. Also if you have part numbers for filters, gaskets, or anything you have replaced. All help greatly appreicated.

    FormerBoater,

I'm hoping you could help me out as I too have a 98 Eagle. The controls to some buttons on control panel near the armrest don't light when I turn on my headlights. The transmission gear is displayed but the cruise control, ICC and PAC indicator lights aren't displayed when headlights are on. Is this normal? The same goes for the spotlight controls. I have removed panel to inspect and don't see a bulb. I did discover a loose wire which is powered when turning on headlights. Don't see where it would go. It's grouped with cruise control wiring. The only spot I see where it may connect is to transmission controls. I'll try to add photos. Appreciate any help you can provide.

Oops trouble with photos. My first time here. I'll wait for a response.
    Thank you in advance.

We wanted to try a motorhome to see if we like it - upgraded from Travel Supreme trip-le slide 5th wheel. We purchased a 1998 American Eagle 40EVS and are learning more about it. There were some known issues and we had it fully serviced by Industrial Power in Ft. Worth, TX. This included replacing the TCM. The motorhome has a Cummins 350 hp with 6 speed Allison transmission, 75,000 miles. I appreciate your posts and hope you don't mind if we turn to you with questions. This is a great forum and we have already learned a lot.

    Thanks.
