    The reservoir is located on the far left, driver side right behind where the front cap pulls out, it is a square cornered black tank fill and dipstick is centered on top of tank. It is located right behind where the left headlights are, but not in the pull out part, in the stationery part. If you look close mounted on the tank toward the middle of the motor home there is a round electric motor like a starter motor.

    I have had jacks leak like you are describing on two MH and it was just a one time occurrence and never happened again. They will sometimes do this when they are maxed out in lift. Clean the oil off and test a few times to see if it actually has a leek.

    I don't know if the fluid is clear comment is true or not mine is red, anyway don't worry about the color.
