    Happy New Year, George

Thanks for your quick and thorough reply.

We live in Osoyoos, BC, which is in southern BC, right on the border. We bought the Trek because we want to travel across Canada this summer. The Trek is a two-year project, which we hope will enable us to see the country without needing to take a tow car (been there, done that).

Our purchase of the Trek was quite sudden, because we did not anticipate finding one until the spring. They are rare in Canada. As a result we have not yet made our travel plans. We will keep that rally you mentioned in mind, but I have a feeling it might be too early for us.

Thanks again very much for your help, George, and thanks for the tip about the Autopark.

    Roger

George. Just bought a 1983 winni cheifton. Saw that you used to have one. Question on the furnace. I only have one of the three batteries in now. When plugged in at a campsite, should it still light or would this prevent that from working. Have gas to the stove, blower comes on, electric pilot sparks but it will not ignight. Also, does level ground have anything to do with it? There is a level bubble under the thermostat. Thanks
