    I don't know that I would do anything differently, but it does have some drawbacks:
    - It weighs more than I had hoped (I lost an inch of clearance above the rear tires)
    - Added wind resistance (not an issue unless you are highway driving)
    - Changes geometry of TJ when off-roading (you get used to it, though)
    - Adds 4" to the height of the vehicle (makes it harder to toss those 45 pound kayaks up there)

    Having said that, I like the rack a lot. It is quite sturdy (I've stood up there) and versatile. You can easily tie down to the rack, and it is easy to add/remove a Thule box or a cargo rack up there. The looks don't bother me like a lot of people; functionality and ruggedness is more important to me.

    I stand on the tires when I am working up there.
