Hello,I just wander if you receive my request?
  2. LT Alaskan
. . . OK, apparently I should have completed the reading assignment before I sent my earlier message. Two threads up I see you are purchasing a new NH rig. Congrats! I look forward to reading about it. I hope you will share the things you kept the same and the things you did differently.
    Best wishes,
    Brian

Makes sense! Can't go wrong with either set up. Both are beautiful rigs!

    Dave,
    142 gallon sounds amazing!

One last question. What was the reason/s you and your wife went from a motorhome to 5th wheel?
    Thank you,
    Mike

    Hi Dave,
My name is Mike. I noticed you have a very nice Ram 5500 Hauler for your beautiful New Horizons 5th wheel. I will likely purchase a Summit and was leaning toward a 450/4500. I'm see many blogs that recommend hauler bed HD trucks like yours.

Did you need to insure your truck through a commercial insurance company? Or who were you able to insure your truck through? What is the annual insurance cost for the DR truck?

Also, how is the ride in the 5500? When going from a 350/3500 to a 450/4500, everyone says the ride is noticeably more rough due to the stiffer commercial tires versus the LT tires on a 350/3500. Can you provide perspective on the stiffness of the ride compared to a 450/4500?

    Thank you for any insights!
    Mike

    Hi Dave,
Hope you guys are doing well. We missed you by about a day when you were in Pahrump. We are in Vegas most of the time now, so if you get back this way lets us know...
We are looking at new coaches and was wondering why you chose the Phaeton over the Aspire? We are leaning heavy in the direction of the Aspire and know you researched well.

    Lela & Dave
