My 1999 Class A diesel has 45,000.00 miles on it, has a 330 cummins with the Allison Trans, and I bought it used in February 14' with 44,000 miles. I don't know Trans history on oil change, was going to have changed, is this a good idea? Some people say don't touch trans fluid at all because one can have problems after you do? Have experienced that with autos over my lifetime. I am sure you are a proponent for changing oil, and I assume filters too, right. Any validate to the above??? Thanks

I sent in a sample after talking to you about my new to me, without any maintenance records, 2005 8.1 Chevy W/ a Allison 1000 trans. Either I was confused with what we talked about or I'm still going to have to spend $300.00 on dumping the trans. fluid. If you get a chance I would like to chat again. Bruce Hicks 352-514-6394
