I jumped at the opportunity as they beat the Lichtsinn price by 7K, which was my best after shopping in VA, PA, MD, OH and WV, but they wanted the delivery by the end of 1/18. We were not planning on taking possession until March or April. I flew to Canton, OH and drove back to VA. Tomorrow, Friday, I am going to drive to Richmond (Ashland) to have the RM card reader replaced and now that the refrigerator issue has surface, they are to troubleshoot that also.

As you may have read in an earlier email. Let me expand. My closest WB dealer is in Richmond, VA. There are actually two. Across the street, there is a CW dealership. However, the two owners sold out to these guys, but one of the owners was not happy and did not want to sell, but he did. Now there is a General RV dealership which is the second. WB has territorial restrictions, so there is actually only one. Debbie and I decided on the View 24D. General RV has several locations, but is not allowed to sell in Richmond. The salesperson, which turned out to be a pretty good guy, informed me they had a internet sales department and put me in touch with them. I ended up buying at 36.42 percent less than MSRP.

From reading the service issues, I don't expect positive results, but the ball is rolling with NorCold. They have been formally informed. I am very glad you began this thread. I believe this will be solved with customer input thruout the country. They are now aware of the problem. My system whether on shore power or solar is very similar. The system does not know when to cycle on or off. I am monitoring temps. When off, about 4 degrees separation. When on, 20 to 22 degrees and this has been at a setting of five. On a positive note, I am glad it is early March and we have not even begun to use the RV. I am hopeful, by the time I de-winterize and we begin to travel the refrigerator will be functional. We would enjoy meeting you all sometime in the future. We are both retired and in our early 60's, but grew up in southern VA and enjoy life and those who can relax and appreciate what we have. I need to buy you a craft beer or a glass of wine to show our appreciation.
