    Good morning Ken:
I posted this on the Newmar page a couple days ago. One of the members suggest I reach out to you with my CD question.
I read somewhere that Freightliner has a replacement harness (#A66-19646-000) for the Comfort Drive that will eliminate the "bucking" of the steering wheel when you turn the coach off and the steering wheel is not perfectly straight. I understand this may also help eliminate the hydraulic line burst that some have experienced resulting in new hoses and fittings. I heard that it shuts down CD when the parking brake is applied.
Would you know anything about this new harness?
    Thanks for the help Ken.
    Cheers,
    Mike

Thank you so much, we will do the download, we are taking it to our Cummins dealer for maintenance and to check everything when we had the blowout. It does sound like it should be a quick fix. Thank you, again!

Mr Sherwin, we have a 2014 DutchStar with the comfort drive. On a recent trip we had a driver front blowout. Since that time our comfort drive goes out, then back on. The tire dealer had to order tires, so we replaced both fronts. The tires are a 20ply Hercules tires. That’s the only thing we could get, we were out west with little RV services. Do you think the issue with the comfort drive could be from the thicker tire, or something mechanical from the blowout? Thank you

I wonder also if I might have a bad shock?

    Thanks so much.

So, steer tires were replace, alignment was not altered or touched. Last week, I went to get it aligned because of the off center steering wheel, I don’t feel like it pulls. The result is they said alignment was dead on. Hence my research and reaching out.
