Hi kstateaddict. The support I removed was a metal strap that was held on with two bolts. What I did was to secure plywood to the existing metal plates. Then I covered the plywood with with Pergo. The wall mount is bolted through the metal plate & plywood. TV is held in place with two velcro straps around the bottom edge, & a small square of sticky velcro on the bottom corner edges to stop the straps from sliding down. We have gone over 4,000 miles and the TV stays in place & storage in the rear of the TV is easy to access. Pics that I took of the floor project are posted at:
Picasa Web Albums - Terry & Bev + Cookie along with our other projects. The electric fireplace is what we used to heat the coach during the last southwest Florida winter; if it was forecast to freeze we also used the box heater in the utility bay to keep the tanks above freezing. Sorry for taking so long to reply I was not aware of your message. Good luck: pace89.
