08-12-2021 08:23 PMRedbaron129I just wanted to add my name to the list Lass has compiled about our Jeep Grand Cherokee, I too have experienced the death wobble 3 times now with our 2017 GC Overland. It usually happens at low speed after making a 90 degree turn . And unless I come to a almost full stop I cannot get it to quit. It is a very scary feeling and I fear damage is being done to the front end and steering components . I sincerely hope a solution is found soon or our next TOAD will not be a Jeep. wgokey1@twcny.rr.com

"So the question is, forget the names of the JEEPS, does a WK2 ( which is the model number of Independent Front Wheel Grand Cherokee since 2011) have the "Death Wobble" or not? You go back and forth between KL and Grand Cherokee but they may or may not be the same JEEP. A Trailhawk is a KL and a WK2 is not a Trailhawk. Yet they are both referred to as Grand Cherokee's but are different SUVs.").
That's after I wrote a post on 7/31 complimenting him for his explanation of steering alignment and clarifying that the Cherokee (KL) is very different from the Grand Cherokee (WK2).
I have no idea where he gets his ideas, it could just be gross misunderstandings or a delusion that he knows more than anyone else.
Safe travels.
