Sorry for the delay in responding...have been away from the computer, enjoying northern Ontario in the moho.
Yes, I'm also using the Readybrute breakaway. I didn't have much trouble routing the cable or the breakaway to the brake pedal along the inner side of the "frame". I removed the left front wheel assy and worked on my back under the front end...much easier than from the top down. I have a front license plate so decided to hide the brake cable connection behind it. I drilled a 2-1/4" hole thru the bumper and the foam core and fold the cable back into this cavity and re-install the lic. plate when I'm not towing the car. It is a little crowded at the left bumper opening where the breakaway cable connection point is located because of the intercooler but you will have it easier with yours. There was far more space available on my original 06 HHR LS but the SS is a lot more fun!
