Yes I have opened it up and see the two small bearings. I had no idea they were so small. I plan to take the motor to a local electric motor repair shop. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Pigman, I finally got around to pulling out my Splendid dryer to fix the noise problem. I pulled out the motor. Are the squealing bearing inside?

Thank you so much. This is very helpful. How did you confirm the bearings were bad, when you ran the motor with the dryer panels removed? What am I looking for? Can you determine it is the bearings, by the sound emanating from the motor?

I intend to pull the dryer out and do just as you did. What tools will I need? I assume I will need a bearing puller, which I think I can rent from AutoZone. I hope to do this project in late May. Any tips would be appreciated. Mine is very loud, but drys clothes well.

I would be very interested to see the pictures of your sewer hose set up. That sounds like just what I have been looking for.

Pigman1 I'm looking for a pdf file of the Onan 10KW Service Manual and/or Master repair manual and I noticed you had them and offered to attach each to an email, could you do the same to Mikeflyme@Comcast.net please...Thanks in advance.

Just read your reports on driving to Alaska and wanted to thank you for all of your comments and information! My wife and I are planning a trip for 2016 and will definitely use your tips! We will be towing our 36' travel trailer and realize our experience may be a little different than a MH but we are still very excited!

Pigman when you dropped Co Pilot what did you switch to? Looks like my only option is Streets and Trips for my laptop. Txs

    Hello
I'm in the process of buying the exact same Allegro Bus as you own. La Mesa RV is getting it ready. They have already performed the Wet Bay repair, found a bad slide topper, and replaced the sleep number pump. I'm having reservations about buying since I'm hearing that ALL of the mid to late 2000's also have radius cracking and DS slide floor rot problems. How are you doing with yours? Any advice would be helpful.

    Thanks
    Jerry
