This all re-started for us after a long Hiatus - we traveled a lot in the RV when the Kids were Young but once they hit High School sports filled the seasons and we only could fly out to get a way - then College we found the RV to be a Perfect Tailgate set up. Arrive on Friday evening - small group for Cocktails - then Game on Saturday - More Cocktails - then Sunday with the Son and home Sunday night or Monday Morning. Sure made College Fun. .

So Now we are comfortable Boondocking almost everywhere - almost all the the National Parks have non reservable Boondocking locations to make Life good and easy for the way we travel - No Reservations - If I can be of more specific help send me a PM and I'll see if I have the info you need.

    Best of Luck,

    Bill

Saw one of your posts about trip out West to National Parks where you mentioned boon docking. Is it readily available?

Yup - sure is - at least in most of the National Parks and driving across the country.

When doing an "A to B" trip we will stop in a couple Wal*Marts as we travel - provided it's not too Hot - meaning need the A/C - Generator - as it is not that cost effective - As we are in Maryland we will use the Coach often to get to Colorado - with a few Wal*Marts (Three) that are in the correct location to make the trip easy - then when we arrive in Colorado we will slide into a Park and dump and refill so as to be able to do it again.

For us 3-4 nights is an easy do - longer we need to Plan to conserve the Water, then we will usually need to recharge in 7 days.
