Water tank basement heat
2012 Allegro 35 QBA

I understand the fresh water and Black and Grey waters receive heat from the furnace. Is it coming from either furnace/heat pump or only the aft unit? We'll be spending some time in the border areas so I want to make sure I understand the issues. Advice?:whistling:

Your wet.bay heat comes only from your rear gas furnace. Neither the front heater nor the heat pumps provide any heat to the wet bay.

I thought that was the way it was but wanted to make sure. Owner's manual was a bit spotty and I have little experience.

Heading your direction soon - Dauphin island then Suwannee State Park and St. Augustine for a break in trip.

+1 What historyljc said :)

Rear Furnace on LP only.

I have 2 clock/thermometer that reads outside temp. I have one with the remote sensor on the outside of my coach. The other one I have the remote sensor in the wet bay area. When it gets cold I can monitor the temperature in that area. We were camping last weekend and the temp got down to 17 degrees. The backup heat for my heat pumps is the furnace when it gets below 30 degrees it kicks on. We just ran the heat pumps and when it got cold at night the furnaces kicked on and the temp in the wet bay area never got below freezing.

Jubilee I have to go to Knoxville next month on a buisness trip. My wife and I are going to drive the MH and spend about a week around knoxville. Can you recommend a good RV Park ?

Seems to me I have heard good things about Racoon Valley. I am travelling today but will try to look when I get back tomorrow. Are you interested in being near the smokies or stay closer to town? Glad to help

Racoon Valley is nice. If you want to stay on the east side of Knoxville, about 15 miles or so from town, there are several really nice campgrounds at the Sevierville and Pigeon Forge exit. Big tourist area with lots do see and do. Exit 407 on I-40 I believe.
