Jacksonville Fl to Kalamazoo Mi
Planning a trip from Jacksonville to Kalamazoo in Class A pulling a Toad. My question is which of these 2 routes is best for road conditions and traffic. 1. Jax,I-10, I-75 to Atlanta and up thru Indiapolis. or 2. Jax,I-95,I-26 and up thru Cinicinnati. I have driven thru Atlanta before so I am familiar with those issues. Which is best and most scenic. They are both approx the same distance. Any advise would be appreciated.

In my personal opinion, neither road is very scenic. Interstates are seldom on the scenic highway lists.

You don't say what you will be driving and if you like climbing hills. If you don't stay west.

I-26 is probably actually a prettier road, but the time of year we have traveled there, there was not a lot green.

Just drove a car up I75. The road was not too bad. Knoxville was worse than Atlanta. I plan to pull my 5er the same route. I will try to get thru both Knoxville and Atlanta on a Sunday.

I've driven from central Mich (Clare) to Daytona/Orlando and back at least 10 times pulling a 3500lb trailer. At this point we don't care about scenery. I-10/I-75 has good road surfaces, is the shortest and fastest for us. I-95, I-26 is more scenic and of course the grades are much steeper and more of them. It's been 2 years since we went that way, but the roads seemed good. As you already stated, Atlanta can be a nightmare, as is Cincinnati. We leave Fl on a Friday and stop short of Atlanta for the night. Last trip we did the speed limit all the way through Atlanta Sat morning with no delays. Stop short of Cinnci for the night, sail right through Sunday morning. Of course if you take I-275 to I-74, you by-pass Cinnci.

If you are considering I-24 out of Chattanooga to I-65 and home, don't. I-65 will beat you to death! IF they ever fixed it, I would prefer it to I-75. Haven't ran I-74 out of Cinnci, but I-69 is fine out of Indy to BC.
