Tranny and ABS communication failure

On my way home from North Carolina in my 2008 Beaver Contessa, I had a "trans comm failure" and "ABS comm failure" on my display. All my gauges then were like windshield wipers, going back and forth. Transmission began to shift frequently by itself. Then everything cleared up and drove the last 150 miles with no issues. Anyone else experience anything like this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:banghead:

Pretty sure the first thing to do would be to locate the 2 control modules , then trace the wiring and see if they share a common ground , to the engine or the frame. Then clean the ground, and re-seat the multiple connectors at the controllers.
Was it raining or were the roads wet when the problem happened ?

Thank you Skip426, if I remember correctly, I do believe it was raining at the time this occurred. I will attempt to locate the modules and clean the grounds. Thanks again for the suggestion.
