I posted earlier about the poor CG water flow and tried camping without any cartridge in the housing...a great improvement. Newmar admitted that their cartridge is overkill and reduces pressure. I have been unable to find a less restrictive cartridge that fits their housing, so I guess I will have to get a new assembly with higher flow. I dont care about pulling bacteria out of the house water, just sediment so my valves dont get screwy...What brand/source have you used to fix this problem, without making a really complex fix like some previous posters have suggested...I'm looking for just a new housing/cartridge swap with really high flow..thanks

Found a replacement filter at Home Depot here in Mazatlan that fit the housing and works great. Plenty of pressure and able to fill tank MUCH faster! Did not record the brand since it seemed to be readily available.

wE had the same in out last two Tiffins. I bought the Hydrolife HL-200 from RVupgrades.com with the C2063 bacteriostatic filter element. Excellent filter and both the housing and element were able to pass more volume than my OEM filter. Fortunately the mounting bolt pattern was identical so it was an easy swap.

I went to Lowes and found a 2 pack of light cartridges for $6.50 that seem to fit fine...they are the 20 micron variety...I suspect OEM Newmars are .5 micron a least!...Flow appears to be better but couldnt really test adequately as I was connected to a well pump that had a 25 psi flow swing...
