Tiffin Bus 37AP Ride Height

I am looking into buying a 2015 Allegro 37ap Bus and was wondering if anyone has any problems with raising the coach above ride height. The dealer told me that the coach could be raised with the valid system about 3 inches only. I am concerned that it's not enough (compared to my Monaco) to keep from hitting the crown of the road in front of my house when pulling into my RV parking pad.

Ride height is not usually adjustable because it puts the drive shaft out of alignment. You might investigate putting boards in the low spot at road edge or approaching at an angle. Ride height is set by valves that are on levers between the axles and the frame, they aren't usually meant to be adjustable beyond specifications.

What chassis are you on?

Maybe I didn't explain myself well enough. I understand the meaning of ride height and the necessity to adjust it properly.... but I'm used to my Monaco being able to "raise" up above ride height temporarily in order to navigate dips and other clearance issues. The HWH control panel has a "raise" button which raises up the entire coach so that going into driveways is easier and you don't catch the hitch on the road crown or driveway. The Allegro Bus is on Tiffin's powerglide chassis.

I would suggest calling Gary Harris at Tiffin.
