1988 E350 Class C Trailer Hitch

I have a 1988 24' Holiday Rambler Class C E350 Ford with a 460 motor. It currently has a homemade hitch on it but I would rather have a factory type. I looked in a junk yard at E350 van hitches but the bolt pattern on the brackets is a little narrower than on my motorhome frame mounting location. Does a motorhome take a wider hitch because of the frame extensions that are added on? Also mine has the spare tire recessed in the rear bumper which makes it hang down lower than I would like. Maybe I need to add some air bags on the suspension to pick it up a little. I was hoping some of you could post pictures showing how yours is mounted to the frame. All I really want to tow is a small trailer with my motorcycle or a small aluminum fishing boat.
Thanks,
Zoom45

Is it really home made in those years mine is basically 2 sheets of metal going across the frame with the square receiver in the middle. Next does the spare tier goblet go from both sides of the frame? On bags my rear weighs right at 8000 lbs the helped a lot

My current hitch is just a piece of U channel welded to the bottom of each frame rail and it has another piece running from it out to the bumper with a reciever block welded to it. It would probably pull my small boat ok but I don't trust it with my motorcycle on a trailer. The spare tire is centered between the frame rails and it is recessed down in the bumper with a storage compartment on each side of it.
