2003 Tiffin Phaeton Slides will not operate

Just had unit services and now the front and read slides will not operate. Batteries are at full charge; still not movement. Is there another area/switch we should be looking at? Suggestions/remedies will be welcomed!:)

I have a 2003 Tiffin Bus, my slides will not work with the key switch on.

My slides would not go out today. Found the interlock relay in the rear compartment.
Checked it with a meter, relay is the problem. It is designed not to allow the slides to move with the key on. Tapped on it with a calibrated tapping device and slides work.
Will replace it when we get home.

I use a screwdriver handle calibrated to MIL spec standards  to tap on mine.

BTW, this happened to me twice in 9 years, so replacement of the relay may not be necessary unless it happens often and repeatedly.

For future reference, where exactly is this relay? I have 2013 Phaeton, so not sure if location is the same as an Allegro Bus or not. Thanks for the info.

Our Allegro Bay has the relays in an electrical compartment behind the front passenger tire. I believe the Phaeton has a similar compartment ahead of the front tire on the driver's side. Newer Tiffins may use a solid state relay rather than the older electrical/mechanical type, so you may not have the same problem.

Slide trouble

I had the same thing and it turned out I needed to us a MIL calibrated screw driver to tap on the chassis Ignition Position relay located on the floor behind the front draws under the dash, there with many others. that was a year ago and never had a problem again. Note, most all the relays under the two covers are the same so if you needed to you could swap one out to make the slides work until you can get a replacement. Hope this helps.

2003 slides

You may want to check your solenoid-rear compartment near batteries.
