8.1 engine, 1000 trans W-22 chassis, 19.5 tires, factory wheelbase. 17K miles

At 3000Rpm at 60MPH underload,(pulling a hill) I get a bad vibration. Has to meet all above conditons fo vibrate. Tires and wheels checked at least twice, alignment done, driveline balanced. Torque converter replaced under warranty by Allison (shuttered when lockup occurred)

Any one ever run into this specific situation?

I had the same as you describe. No one could find the problem. I finally found. Under a load (climbing a hill) the engine would torque/twist and the wire harness, on drivers side of engine, feeding the spark coils would rise with the engine and press against a steel brace under the doghouse and short out one of the coils. A hard plastic tube over the spot cured the problem.
