front air bags
I recently discovered that the 2009 32' Allegro open road that I purchased has front air bags. I can't find any paper work on them. If you also have front air bags can you tell me what kind of psi you run? They appear to have 4-5 psi, and the MH rides fine. I was going to bring them up to 20psi and go from there. Any thoughts?

I had new airbags installed on our MH, and the recommended pressure for the front airbags is 40 PSI.

Before the speculation goes to far. There are HUGE differences.
It would be helpful to know what chassis does your Allegro have?

My MH is on a Ford F53 chassis.

AFAIK, only the GM/Workhorse P32 chassis came OEM with air bags (they were inside the front coil springs) and I don't believe any of the variations of the F53 ever did. Therefore, I suspect that a PO must have added
some after-market bags after the coach left Tiffin.

If you can't find any nameplate or paperwork, perhaps a picture posted here will help someone identify them for you. Good luck.

OBTW, if yours only have 4 or 5 PSI in them, that can't possibly do anything for you, IMO.

I have front air bags (and rear) on mine. See my signature below for a description of my unit. If your bags and springs look like the ones in the following pictures, they would be a Kelderman Air Suspension System. The key is the multi-leaf, progressive rate springs that Kelderman uses with their air bags.
