http://irv2.infopop.cc/groupee_commo...icon_frown.gif I messed up. I lost the gas cap on my 2001 Gas Dutch Star on a W22 Chassis. It is a model 3666 that has the fill pipe on the rear wall near the ladder. I have tried several auto parts stores and even bought every model that Wal-Mart had and so far cannot find one that fits. I am hoping that someone with this model coach would look at the numbers on their gas cap and give them to me. I feel that I could then cross them to something that would fit. I appreciate any and all responses. Thank you. http://irv2.infopop.cc/images/juggle.gif

I owned a 2002 DS gas on a W22. I bought a locking gas cap for it at Discount Auto.

Thanks but I am not looking for a locking gas cap. I want an original type.

Thanks but I read that thread as well as several others that I found with a search. All were talking about coaches newer than mine and a friend with a 2002 just replaced his with one from NAPA. It did not fit mine.

There might lay the problem. There is very little call for regular OEM gas caps from past manufacturered vehicles, therefore no one will stock them. Locking caps however are a different story. They have always sold them and with the higher prices of fuel today that market is expanding. Get a locking cap. It will be easy to locate and will deliver added benefits your old one did not.

DriVer solved my problem in Workhorse Custom Chassis Motorhome Forum. He gave me the correct number for a cap that fit. It was a Stant 11506.

Thanks to all who responded.
