Formerly the DeAnza Cove Mobile Home and RV Park, this newly revamped RV section offers 300 sites with 50amps and WiFi.

Narrow spaces are on a paved parking lot surrounded by a chain link fence. Outside the fenced area are run down trailers (many deserted) and many vacant lots with orange barrier tapes around them. There is a long term plan to upgrade the entire property, but it appears to be in the early stages.

Personal Comment:
We didn't stay here, but drove through. The old DeAnza Cove Rv park was very nice, however this new version leaves a lot to be desired. Ok for a night or two if you want to be close to Mission Bay.

DeAnza (Mission Bay) has always puzzled me. I now live a whopping 20 miles away from it but for 15 years i lived two blocks from it.
It has always had what i thought was a curious reputation. It is in the most beautiful spot you can find, but it just never appears to me to be finished, and I have always wondered why they seem to be a 'motel' type location for some of our colorful locals.
Great location, and great views!!
Twenty years ago my then harley was stolen. It was found at DeAnza. I have recommended that Park at least a hundred times.

Ahhhh the memories..... Grew up in San Diego, spent a lot of time at Mission Bay. Hoping to get down there with the family again to visit.
Mike, you're in Lakeside? I used to ride horses there, on Palm Row Drive. My best friend grew up in Lakeside too. LOVE the area.

Way back when I owned a MH and lived in Huntington Beach, CA. I stayed at De Anza for two weeks. At that time they wee basically a mobile home park with a section for RV's. Twenty years ago the space cost $25 per night. Why do I remember this?
Right before the entrance into the park there was a little motel that advertised nightly rates of $20 per night! http://irv2.infopop.cc/images/sign0082.gif
It sure raised my conscious level to the fact that having a MH often was more expensve than staying in a hotel.
De Anza was a beautiful park. Great sunsets, right on Mission Bay. Easy access to downtown and Sea World.
