Has anyone rated the top ten class a models of all time

I'd like to know if there is something like consumer report testing & review that has definitively categorized the top ten class a motorhome models. Is it based on chassis, engine/transmission, interior quality?

I have never seen what you're asking for. Prices for new Class A's start at 50-100k and go to 1.5m and more. How could you compare fit and finish of a Newell to an entry level class A gasser?

I beg to differ. You can easily compare comparable coaches using price and floor plan.

Ex: Best 1.5 bath gas coach at 150K on a 22K chassis.

The problem is no professional magazine will do it for fear of losing potential ad revenue. It's a small community with only a handful of players, despite the multitude of brands.

You can compare them to find what's best for you, but your best and my best can differ without any contradiction. Making a list of the best is useful only for generating internet click bait.

Best can be very subjective. Does best mean least consumer complaints? Best design? Best overall ride comfort? Best amenities?

Country Coach. Then there is everything else.

But maybe I am a little prejudiced

Well, I guess i'll follow suit!:)

But I will say other than Country Coach there are Marathon, Newell, Foretravel, Bluebird, Enter and they are all great coaches. Most come down to budget and personal preference.

The Prevost Lady Liberty and Marathon are pretty nice.

They're still a little out of our range at about double what the Magna cost and with the DW out of work due to the cancer and me working a part time minimum wage job we just can't quite swing them.

Newell is number one in our book. But we can't afford one. If we won the lottery we'd buy a Newell.

FWIW I am not pushing the book lol; I bought the Motorhome Comparison Guide written by Randall Eaton and updated annually. This independent firm compares Class A's, B's, and C's manufactured in the last 10 years on a multitude of factors such as quality, warranty, customer satisfaction etc... My wife and I were shopping for Class A's and were seeking information to answer that exact timeless question: Who manufacturers the best motorhome? This book was well worth the money spent and was recommended to us by a friend; I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in purchasing a new/used motorhome.
