Is there anyway I can use a timmer on my inverter & battery charger? I was wondering if I can set them to come on at night instead of running them all day to conserve electric. I am paying 15 cents per killowatt & I am running about 1200 killowatts per month. Any ideas?

Is the unit in storage? You could always add a timer to your shore line - use a couple of 50a to 15a plug adapters and set the inverter to a 15amp breaker. However, if 1200kw/month (=$180/month) is not a typo, that is *not* your inverter/charger using that much. That's what a typical 1,500 watt space heater running 24/7 for a month would use. Or, the batteries are being charged in excess of 150amp/12v for 24/7 thus reducing them to a melted mass. Something else has got to be going on.
