Lighter Accessories plug-in

I try to plug my Garmin into the lighter plug-in and nothing. Use the plug in the car, and it works fine. Some plugs work but most do not. Driving a Tuscany. Any ideas.

Blown fuse. If inop power port at the dash, usually a fuse panel under the dash or somewhere at front of coach.

If your device works fine in other outlets, than it is the dash fuse for those outlets. Mine have blown in different coaches for reasons unknown.

It is not a fuse because my other lighter plug-in works.

Make sure the Garmin plug parts are secure. It seems to me one time mine came unscrewed.

How do you know they are not fused indepentantly? If in fact common circuit, then wiring issue likely near the power port plug.

I only have one dash outlet. It is the various items I plug into it , where some work but most don't.

I have seen this before. You can replace the lighter outlet with one purchased at a auto parts store. Or you could purchase a 2/1 power adapter which might also work.
I have had the problem of my lighter outlet vibrating loose. Mine has a bolt and nut which holds the positive wire terminal to the center connector of the lighter. Make sure everything is tight. Sometimes the wire connections at the rear of the lighter outlet are loose.
