Hello B.P. Nope on the Troll Booth until tomorrow...Issues seem to be fixed.. Just got it out of the shop Windshield was not sealed and they replaced the Heat Pump with a new one...compressor was frozen..Tank monitors ??? who knows.. only time will tell on that one.....Supposedly they were never hooked up at the factory and as they were trying to track down the problem, the wiring fell out in their hand..
Getting a good blast of winter through here today so with the wind warnings, I just decided to camp here till tomorrow

SACS & MM....are you guys getting as strong a storm as Northern Cal??? Glad I'm home!!!
Good luck getting all your repairs done!!!

Gordon 01-04-2008 06:03 PM

Gonna be windy here tonight.

I have doubled up all mooring lines and put out the stern anchor! The lookout watch has been doubled. Iceberg off the starboard bow!

MonacoMama 01-04-2008 09:28 PM

Gordon.. you have that right!!

The weather at "Camp Monaco-Harrisburg"....hmmmm..."breezy & blowing" ...noooo...."windy & wet" is not quite accurate either...Gully-Washers & Gale-force winds might be most accurate!!

We don't normally keep sides in while in the coach, but tonight will be an exception! The passenger side slides are both in and will probably stay that way until we get set back up at the official "Troll Station"...which should be tomorrow while I am at work.

Monaco took care of the three items ...and the double checked them today. I just noticed one thing on the tank sensors...and I will have Sacs double check it in the AM. They may have 2 wires crossed so that the sensors are reading wrong. I may have to have Monaco come down tothe "Troll Station" and fix it there...because I have the need to get back to "the Troll Home"

Billy P... are you heading into "Camp Monaco" tomorrow? You should be able to show up early without a problem..unless folks start using this as a "Waiting" area before heading on...

Let us know when you get back into the area!

Heading to Camp Monaco this AM -- Been in Albany for the past 3 days -- We may be traped in OR. FOREVER -- I`ll never complain about 110 degree temp in AZ. again -- Bill Willard

And everyone thought I was just a whiner when I complained during our stay in Portland

SacsTC 01-05-2008 07:13 AM

AAAwwwwww C'mon Bruce

You would let this little bitty Nor'Wester bother ya???
It was just 4" (or so) of rain in less than 24 hours..... and the 65 MPH winds just saved you using energy making the coach rock and roll..
Getting back over the mountain should be a piece of cake,,,There is only about 8 to 10 feet of new snow.....
the highway crews should have taken care of that when it was falling....
Well anyway, found a new leak with the sideways rain pressure washing the passenger side of the coach.
Oh yeah,,, Snow is forecast for the Ashland area every day till next Saturday..

See Ya

Whew! I'm glad that everything has already broken and been fixed on my '98. Also happy to have a moderate winter here in The South thus far. Thought I was gonna freeze solid when the temps dropped into the teens earlier this week!

Stay warm MM and Sacs.

bsavage 01-05-2008 04:16 PM

Yikes! Stay warm!

OK.. the "Troll Station" is at Camp Monaco for a few more days. We don't like the way the gray sensor reads from 0 to 2/3 almost instantly the new heatpump is performing poorly after we had them take care of a squeak it had.

...BUT the good thing about that is the William Willard family is now here ...and we will have a chance to visit some more! They pulled in this AM as I was leaving for Sacs had a chance to visit a lot today with BP & R. He truly enjoyed the visit with them also (Of course... anyone who knows about black-eyed peas New Years Day will always be A-OK in my world!)

I do work tomorrow .. but we will share pizza and swap stories tomorrow evening!

Gosh... I love this "Troll" gig... the people who are willing to meet the Troll have all been great!!

Guess that sunny picture of your Dip with the palm tree near the bedroom is just a dream or a "wish I were there" thing?

P.S., I love black-eyed Peas and had them on New Years.

If I tell you where I am and what the temps are you will hate me. Oh what the heck, we are down in Florida. Granted it was cold a few days ago for here, but has warmed back up now.
