I noticed last time we had full hookup, we had soap suds out on the ground under where the w/d was. Today, on full hookup, we used it again, and again I noticed water out on the ground....I find it is coming from, what appears to be about a 1/4" overflow pipe...soooo, the question is: is it normal operation for the w/d to overflow some water on the ground??????

No it is not. Your pipe must be leaking somewhere. Also, do you have a "Splendide" washer? If yes, remember they use very little soap, a tablespoon is what is recommended.

We use the "he" soap. High efficiency. Low suds, only need a small amount.

It is a Splendide, and I called the factory...they said it was a leaking pump at the shaft...needed to be replaced. I happen to be in Yuma after Quartzite, and they referred me to a local factory repair guy, who is coming tomorrow....the adventure continues!!!! Glad the market came back some the last two days http://irv2.infopop.cc/images/cheeky.gif

teoff,

I am sure your "local repair guy" is Chris. He is a good man and will fix you up. I have used him several times when I worked at a RV dealer here in Yuma plus he has fixed my old one. I need to call him and see if there is some way to disarm the long delay before we can open the door on my new one in the 07 Diplomat. I am sure some idiot burned his/her little finger and some lawyer got involved. Maybe you can ask him.

By the way, where are you in Yuma? We are at Country Roads.

We are parked next to a good friends house up in the Foothills....full hookup, and house privileges....it doesn't get any better than this!
Yes, it is Chris, and he will be here at 1:30P today..I'll ask him about the delay.

Chris said no way to bypass the lock feature. The older models like mine, don't have one...he did a good job, although I worked right along with him, and he was very reasonably priced.
