Tow Hitch Receiver Height-Entegra Aspire

We are awaiting delivery of a 2020 Aspire 44R. In preparation, we had our F150 setup to tow, but I need to know the height of the opening of the receiver hitch on the coach to see if I need to purchase a hi/lo hitch to get the truck tow bar within specs for the height of the coach receiver. I called Entegra, Spartan and the dealer, no help. Any help out there, The truck is 15 and 3/4, so 16 in from the ground, and the Aspire needs to be measured with the airbags full. Really
appreciated, Jim & Connie

Any dealer with a 20 Aspire on the lot should be able to go out and measure the height.... I would try Motor Home Specialists, or NIRVC in Atlanta and Phoenix and see if they are willing to help you. There are few 2020 Aspire owners on here posting, but maybe you will get lucky.

IF all else fails, call NIRVC in Phoenix and ask for Kevin Valenti (a service manager and general nice/helpful guy)(mention my name, it might help) and explain your problem and see if he can help you. He has been very helpful to me several times.

Jim, we used a Demco Xcalibar to pull our F-150 4WD. When it was stock height, the bar slopes down a tad. After a 2 leveling kit on the pickup, the bar still loose down towards the truck, but not as much.

We used Blue Ox base plates.

You should be good without a drop hitch adaptor.

Also, Hopkins makes a slick Plug-N-Play (no splice) wiring setup that works on later model F150s.

Someone asked a similar question a few years back. Photos linked are from my 2017 Aspire Spartan K2 chassis aired up and on level pavement.

Jim, the center of the hitch is roughly 24.5 off the ground on my 2019 Aspire 44b.

I have a 15 Cornerstone and tow a 14 Ford Raptor SVT (and a 16 Jeep Rubicon UNL). I use a Blue Ox Aventa 10k two bar and Blue Ox tow mounts on the Raptor. The height of the Raptor and the CS is level, so no adjustment. When towing the Raptor, I put a 2 1/2 tong on the Blue Ox Aventa and do not use a reducer in the hitch.

The Jeep has a 4 lift and 315x70Rx17 tires. Towing the Jeep requires a 10 reverse offset connector and I use a 2 tongue on the Blue Ox Aventa. The Jeep has a Rock Hard 4x4 aluminum front bumper with factory tab mounts for a Blue Ox tow bar.

What we did was go to a hitch garage in Elkhart with the coach and road. They measured and put a 6 inch drop hitch on. They would also have custom built the drop hitch if needed. Probably a similar outlet available in your area.
