2V or 3V engine?
How can I tell if I have a 2V or 3V engine? It is a 2016 Winnebago Sightseer with the F53 chassis and 6.8L V10 engine. The chassis was built in 2015. Thanks.

After 2005, 2 valve V10 are only used in E series chassis. E350 and E450.

You have a 3 valve.

In addition to what "twinboat" has said...

Useful info at Ford Body Builder Advisory Service Web site, link here.
Includes 2015 F-53 specs (link here) and 2016 specs (link here).
Both show engine as "3V," meaning three-valve.
Your coach could be built on a 2015 or 2016 chassis. The 10th digit of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) will tell you which (link here).
VIN digit 8 is also supposed to tell you the engine type.
Your owner's manual available at this link.

Some of these links may answer other questions you have.

Thanks for the comments. I am looking into getting a five star tuning kit for the engine and it shows the 3V responding better to the upgrade. I just installed a Hellwig rear sway bar and that made a big improvement. Hoping for the same results with the drivability With the changes to the engine/transmission. Any comments in this area would be appreciated as well. Thanks
