Air filter minder
We have read that you should regularly check the Air Filter Minder. We have a 2008 Monaco Diplomat 40PDQ and we cannot locate this device! Can anyone tell us more about it - where it is, what it looks like, should we be touching it, should it be part of our routine professional maintenance...? Any info would help.

On a side radiator diesel it is usually located in the engine compartment. Press on the button on the bottom to reset it and after you drive check it again. When it nears the red zone it is time to replace the filter.

It will be behind one of the two access door on either side of your rear radiator, and look like the picture provided by Theberrys. It senses the pressure drop across the filter and when it get to a certain point the indicator will show in the red, that is time to change the filter. My practice is to change the filter once a year even if the indicator isn't in the red. These engines pump a lot of air and all of it goes through the filter so if you travel much each year you have collected a lot of particles in the filter. Hope this is helpful.

On our 2003 Monaco Camelot with the side mounted radiator the air filter minder is located in the engine compartment with easy viewing access when you open the engine compartment doors. Others have given good advice as to its use as an indicator of your air filter's condition. Here is a picture of the air filter minder on our MH.

On my 06 Endeavor it is located behind the driver side rear access door and looks like the one pictured by Monaco38.

I have an 07 40 PDQ and it is by the dip stick in the rear compartment.
